Domus Domitia
Luxury House

An eclectic and intriguing mix

In a seventeenth-century palace building overlooking the tiny beautiful street, Vicolo Domizio in the heart of Renaissance Rome between Piazza Navona and Saint Peters , Domus Domitia welcomes guests in a unique setting.
The entrance is embrassed by the portal of famous Florentine architect Antonio Sangallo, who also participated to the project of Saint Peters with Bramante , among the most famous italian artists of renaissance period.

As you enter Domus Domitia you feel the warm liason between history and modern architecture all around you. The attention to details is stunning.
Every element of the house is elegant and appropriate , the structure has been studied thinking of space , light and comfort as a priority , including the former warehouse of the Palace on the lower level . Transaparencies and reflections between the two levels of the residence make it all so special. The elements of interior design are a very eclectic mix , the contemporary art and the traditional furniture emphasizes different Epochs.

The contrast is perfect for those who like history in a modern comfortable and luxurious setting , a true authentic experience in the heart of Roman lifestyle in a very special home .

The independant entrance makes Domus Domitia even more private and reserved although so central. The silent little alley just off famous antique street Via dei Coronari is so charming.

The total white of the Palace is interrupted by shades of green and plum of the sofas from the early twenties , the colours make the living room so lively and pleasant , cozy to enjoy relaxing moments.

The “leit motiv” is remarqued by words and meanings recalled in all of the modern art works in several rooms of the house , in the living room the panel on the wall “ DOMUS DOMITIA” is an inspiration from the night clubs of the 1980’s.
